As to be expected with a lower price tag, you're looking at tract homes with their smaller lot sizes. If you want rock-bottom cheap, Eastview always has several condos for sale--converted from apartments--on Western just northwest of San Pedro's 1st Street. Both neighborhoods are near shopping, and Eastview is the closest to the freeways.
